A bit about waves

I love all areas of physics but throughout my studies, there is nothing more ubiquitous than waves. They appear everyone from the largest to the smallest scales and from the most physical to the most abstract phenomena. I think it's one of the few models that a child can understand but also . They span many orders of mathematical complexity / verbosity. I think it's one of the first models we learn about and that we most frequently re-visit as humans.

It's truly the best model (most versatile?) we have.
